The HeartSine Pediatric Pad/Pak is for patients under 8-years of age or less than 55 pounds. These pads provide about half the power of adult pads and have a smaller surface area for pediatric use. The Pediatric Pad/Pak lasts 4-years and reduces the number of times that batteries and pads have to be replaced vs. other AEDs
